Josh Herzog

I am a cinematographer currently splitting time between New York and Los Angeles. Since my 5th grade technologies class where I spent 12 weeks learning how to key a green screen in Sony Vegas, I have always loved short form projects. Music videos, commercials, fashion branding and everything in between, telling a narrative or selling a product in such a short amount of time has always been an exciting challenge! Above all else, I like to bring a professional yet calming and positive demeanor to all of my shoots. There is a way of being efficient and detailed while still maintaining a good rapport with everyone on set.

My other passion has expanded into the world of documentaries. I love the light that documentaries can shed on topics formerly hidden away from the world. Having the opportunity to share someone’s story that may otherwise feel hidden in the shadows, and give them a platform to spark change has become more necessary than ever.  I treasure any chance I get to help in their efforts.

When I’m not on set you can probably find me playing board games, obsessively checking my fantasy football lineup or making ground turkey over brown rice (my specialty).
